In May of 2025, I traveled to Brussels and The Hague with the University of Cincinnati Honors Program for a study tour through my International Institutions course. Known as the legal capital of the world, The Hague offered invaluable opportunities for me as a Pre-Law student.

​

Guided by Dr. Ivan Dinev Ivanov, my class and I observed courtroom proceedings, engaged with global policy, and met legal experts at leading institutions including the ICJ, ICC, PCA, NATO Parliamentary Assembly, European Commission, Europol, OPCW, MICT, Peace Palace, and the Parlamentarium.

This experience now informs my final research project on EU opioid regulation, building on my UHP Discover research and my role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the HEART Lab under Dr. Paris Wheeler. I look forward to carrying this knowledge into my future career in law.
