Involvements & Interests
Here is what I have been up to:

Social Justice
I had the privilege of interning as a Summer Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Kern Reese in Division L of the Orleans Parish Civil District Court, Louisiana. This role allowed me to take a deep dive into the legal field and gain practical experience. I observed a variety of trials, assisted with courtroom operations, and meticulously organized legal documents.

Tutoring
I have dedicated over 60 hours to volunteering as a Bearcat Buddy tutor, where I've had the privilege of working closely with elementary-aged children, providing support in both math and ELA. Engaging with young learners in this capacity has been immensely fulfilling, and I eagerly anticipate each opportunity to contribute positively to their academic journey.

Cooking
Cooking has become my new favorite hobby. Crafting recipes and sharing culinary adventures on my cooking blog has served as a refreshing sanctuary from the demands of my academics, offering me a productive outlet to unwind and explore my culinary aspirations.

Snowboarding
With an increasing academic load, I wanted to develop a new skill that would enhance my perseverance. I grew up doing competitive cheer my whole life, and this taught me grit and determination. I wanted to pick up snowboarding because it is a sport I can do with friends and something I can bond with new classmates about when I am in law school.

Traveling
Through the University Honors Program, I was able to study abroad in Iceland for nine days in Fall 2024. This Spring 2025, I am taking a course called International Institutions, where I will be studying abroad in Belgium and the Netherlands for a week in May. Finally, Fall 2025, I will be going to Costa Rica for a class called Human Displacement and Social Justice.

Gardening
I volunteer at the Civic Garden Center as part of the Horticultural Group. Our work is dedicated to preserving and revitalizing Cincinnati’s historic gardens. We remove invasive species, clean up litter, and plant native species, ensuring the garden remains a thriving space for the community.

Staying active
I find joy in maintaining an active lifestyle, regularly engaging in pilates and cycling group fitness classes at the UC rec center. I also love going for runs because they help clear my mind and make me feel prepared to face any challenges that come my way.

Psychology
Psychology has long been, and forever will remain, my greatest passion. I am deeply engaged in Psi Chi, the esteemed international honors society for Psychology students, and I proudly hold the President position of the Psychology Club, where I actively foster growth, knowledge, and camaraderie among my peers.

Exploring
I love discovering Cincinnati's hidden gems. Embracing the urban lifestyle, I find myself truly fortunate to be surrounded by a plethora of captivating destinations waiting to be explored.

Trying new restaurants
I've recently taken up a hobby as an amateur food critic. I keep a list on my phone and carefully rate and review every new restaurant I try. Recently, I had a great experience at Amador, a lovely Cuban restaurant in Cincinnati. I shared my thoughts on my Food Instagram, and to my surprise, Amador started following my page and thanked me for the review.
